Privacy policy: Catalog QA
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Who we are. Catalog QA ("the app", "we") is a Shopify app operated by CorpCorp (owner: Nate Goldberg). Privacy requests and any other questions go to support@ordermailapp.com.
What the app accesses. With the merchant's permission (read_products), the app reads the store's product catalog: product titles, status, category and images (including alt text), and each variant's title, SKU, price, barcodes and shipping weight. It also reads the store's myshopify domain and the app's own plan. It does not request or read orders or any customer data.
What the app stores. The Shopify session for the store (needed to call the Shopify API on the merchant's behalf), the results of the latest two catalog scans (for each issue found: the check, product and variant IDs and titles, SKU, barcode and a short description), the weekly rescan setting, and the dates the app first opened and last showed Shopify's review prompt. It stores no customer data.
Where data is processed. The app and its database run on Fly.io in Ashburn, Virginia, United States. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, or use it for any purpose other than showing the merchant their scan results.
Retention and deletion. Each new scan replaces scans older than the previous one. When the merchant uninstalls the app, all of the store's scans, issues and settings are deleted immediately, and anything left, including sessions, is deleted when Shopify sends the shop/redact request (48 hours after uninstall). Customer data requests (customers/data_request, customers/redact) are acknowledged; the app holds no customer data to return or delete.
Your rights. Merchants can run a new scan or uninstall the app at any time. For any other request about your data, including access, correction or deletion, email support@ordermailapp.com.
Changes. If this policy changes, we update the date above and, for material changes, tell merchants in the app.
